Japanese Language Speech Contest

Komaru Transportation Company together with Hiroshima University’s Lithuanian Center and Vytautas Magnus University’s Centre for Asian Studies are organizing the Second Japanese Language Speech Contest. Participants from schools and universities are welcome. As last year, the contest is ready to surprise the winners with special presents (last year the main prize was a trip to Japan).

The Japanese language speech contest will be taking place on May 17th, 1 p.m., at VMU Centre for Research and Studies(V. Putvinskio st. 23, Room 103,  Kaunas).

This year’s topic is “transportation” in its broadest sense, including traffic, travel etc. The speeches must be original works created by the participants. Each speech will be evaluated by a special committee that will take into account grammar, pronunciation, content, expressions, fluency, and answers to the questions.

The registration is open and will last till May 3, 2019. In order to register, please fill in the online form at https://forms.gle/BY574UngshRPBaNm8

The participants are also asked to submit their speech in written form by May 3, 2019 to Kayako Takagi, kayako.takagi@vdu.lt. The same email can be used to ask questions regarding the contest.
