Workshop with a German band
We invite all students who have always wanted to write a song in German to participate in the workshop “Wie entsteht ein Liedtext” (“How to write song lyrics”) with the acoustic rock band “Solche” from Chemnitz, Germany.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, April 13, at 3:00 p.m at the VMU Faculty of Humanities (V. Putvinskio g. 23), room 102.
The members of the Band “Solche” are: Mario Krohn (cajon), Michael Focken (bass) and Holm Krieger (vocals and acoustic guitar). Founded in 2005, this band plays fast, folk-heavy rock music with German lyrics. With over 500 concerts throughout Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Croatia and other countries, “Solche” proves that it is an energetic live band that can thrill audiences everywhere with its mix of philosophy, party and poetry.
In the evening the band will continue with a concert at the pub “Galera” (Nemuno g. 45) from 7:00 p.m. Further information can be found here.
Anyone from the university community who is interested in coming to the concert can write a short email to our DAAD lecturer Benjamin Hausner (benjamin.maximilian.hausner@vdu.lt) and receive free admission to the concert.
