Open lecture about Tibet

On October 27th, “Time for Asia” event cycle invite all to an open lecture on contemporary Tibet – “Deep Tibet: emerging trends in Tibet today” given by Tibet’s expert Vincent Metten (EU Policy Director, International Campaign for Tibet, Brussel’s office). The lecture will be held at 12 P.M. in VMU multifunctional science and studies center (V. Putvinskis 23) 103 auditorium. The event is free and open to all.

During the lecture, Mr. V. Metten will present contemporary situation, emerging challenges and future trends in Tibet. Mr. V. Metter has been working in the International Campaign for Tibet for more than 11 years. During his carrier, he published numerous articles in English and French languages about Tibet, China’s domestic politics and EU – China relations.

“Time for Asia“ is a cycle of events, organized by the Centre for Asian Studies and aimed to present contemporary issues and topics in the fields of Asian politics, society and economics.
