Open lecture about China‘s foreign policy

On October 19th, “Time for Asia” events start a new season with an open lecture about China’s foreign policy. The lecture will be held at 5:30 P.M. in VMU multifunctional science and studies center (V. Putvinskis 23) 310 auditorium.

We are honored to have Prof. Jisheng Sun who is the current Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) and Secretary General of China National Association for International Studies. She has published and translated numerous books, articles and papers regarding international relations and China’s foreign policy. In the past she worked as a visiting professor at Marietta College, Ohio and as a research fellow at Harvard University. Prof. Sun’s lecture “Certainty vs. Volatility and Turbulence: China’s Foreign Policy and the World” will be open to everyone.

“Time for Asia” is a cycle of events, organized by the Centre for Asian Studies and aimed to present contemporary issues and topics in the fields of Asian politics, society and economics.
