PRACTICAL TIPS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS
- If you are an EU citizen or have been vaccinated in other EU country with one of the EU-recognised vaccines or recovered from COVID-19, please have your EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE.
- If you arrive from a non-EU country and you are vaccinated with one of the EU-recognised vaccines or have already recovered from COVID-19, please bring an official document (issued in English language) confirming the vaccination/ recovery issued by the institution in accordance with the procedure valid in the country of issuance.
- If you are vaccinated with the vaccine not confirmed by European Medicines Agency (EMA) (e.g. Sputnik, Sinovac, Covishield), after your arrival and self-isolation, you will have an opportunity to carry out a serological anti-body test (see Section 2.2), which will be valid for 60 days and could be updated after. You can revaccinate with one of the EU-recognised vaccines after arrival too (it’s your decision)
- All incoming exchange and full-time students and current VMU students residing in Lithuania (EU citizens, non-EU citizens with National D visa or TRP) who are not vaccinated yet after the self-isolation period (if needed) will have an opportunity to get vaccinated with one of the EU-recognised vaccines at Mobile vaccination centres and Kaunas/Vilnius vaccination centres. During the period until your full vaccination as introduced in Section 1 you will have an opportunity to follow the courses you are registered on Moodle and in an individual consultation way (please inform your faculty and ICD coordinator). If you wish or need to participate in the in-person study activities until your full vaccination you have to take paid PRC tests as described in Section 3 (at any private or public clinic).
- To participate in the in-person study, sports and other activities, students who refuse to vaccinate will have to take paid PRC tests as stipulated in Section 3 until the Order of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on the basis of which such rule is established is valid.
- Students holding Lithuanian Temporary Residence Permit can obtain National Certificate proving completed vaccination in Lithuania or antibodies test results via website: https://gp.esveikata.lt/?lang=en (logging in with e-banking or digital signature).
- Students holding National D type or Schengen C type visas or EU citizens who completed vaccination in Lithuania (according Section 1) can obtain vaccination proof by registering via kaunopoliklinika.lt. After filling in the form, you will receive an email within 1-2 days to the e-mail address you specified when to pick up the prepared documents.
We will provide you with any changes in the current information or Government decisions. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to address your faculty and ICD coordinator.
Let’s stay healthy,
