Interactive training course

 

On January 21, 2021, an interactive online training session was organised for the participants of the project “Lithuanian Academic Scheme for International Cooperation in Baltic Studies”. The course was joined by 32 participants from the centres of Lithuanian (Baltic) studies abroad as well as scholarly and academic institutions of Lithuania. The training session lasted 6 academic hours and offered three lectures. During the first lecture, Dr Teresė Ringailienė presented “Learn and Speak Lithuanian”, her new manual for the learners of the Lithuanian language. Assoc. Prof. Ingė Lukšaitė, Prof. dr. Rūta Petrauskaitė, Lina Bloveščiūnienė and Nijolė Kolesinskienė offered a lecture on the database “Lituanistika” (LDB), an international research database providing bibliographic records, abstracts and full-text documents about the past and present of the Lithuanian state, society, culture, nation and language. The third lecture delivered by Assoc. Prof. Tomas Pabedinskas was on Lithuanian photography.
