Erasmus+ BIP “When Japan meets Central Europe”
The Erasmus BIP program took place between March and April 2025 on the initiative of the SWPS University of Warsaw, with the participation of SWPS University (Warsaw), Palacky University (Olomouc), Karoli Gaspar University (Budapest) and Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas).
The program focused on Japan-Central Europe relations and was attended by over 20 students from the above mentioned universities, lecturers from these universities as well as guest lecturers, local experts from Warsaw, and policy, cultural and analytical centers.
The Faculty of Humanities of VMU was represented by students of the East Asian Cultures and Languages program and Dr. Linas Venclauskas, lecturer at the Department of History.
The result of the project is an analytical and representative publication – When Japan meets Central Europe, prepared jointly by students and lecturers.
