Bilateral Exchange in Japan

VMU International Office has announced competition for bilateral exchange studies in Japan in spring semester 2016/2017.  Students who would like to apply for this competition please register online and fill in the application form until  30th  January, 2017Before choosing a foreign university you have to check if this university‘s suggested courses are matching your study program in VMU. Please consult with international relations coordinator in your faculty, choose university in which you want to study and apply for it.

Participant Requirements

The participants eligible for the competition are students who:

  • are Bachelor or Master students;
  • have academic average higher than 8;
  • are strongly motivated and have clear goals.

Students are requested to choose the accepting foreign university from the list of Japanese institutions that have signed bilateral agreements with VMU.

Application Documents

The following documents should be attached to the filled-in application:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV);
  • your digital photo;
  • copy of passport.

The competition has two stages of selection

First stage is submission of required documents via online application form. Applications will be evaluated by selection committee and only appropriate candidates will be invited to the second stage – interview with selection committee. Students who will pass second stage will be nominated to partner universities and will be able to start application procedures for studies abroad.

You have a possibility to win Japanese government, Japanese university‘s offered scholarships or VMU mobility scholarship (500 EUR per month).

Student who will not be granted with scholarship have a possibility to go for studies with their own personal funds.
